Organize social activities, promote events or attract more alumni members to your institution by using powerful Sayidan events extension.
It is recommended to have demo content preinstalled before you continue modifying events. You will reduce any potential risk of theme misconfiguration. If you want to create new event please do the following. Go to Events > Add New section of your WordPress admin and populate the following tabs and fields:
- Title
- Description
- Event Details
- Featured Image
- Excerpt
One of the most important parameters under Event Details tab is Time field. Based on this field events will be aggregated by months and split into past and future event categories. You may also choose to enable or disable countdown timer on event banner preview. By default banner takes the next most earliest event.
Click on Publish or Update button in order to save Event. Repeat same steps to create multiple events. Once all events are entered you to create events page itself. Go to Pages > Add New > Add Widget > Sayidan Events to add the required widget.
Make sure that Disable Title and Wide Content settings are enabled. Hover on Sayidan Events widget and click Edit to specify additional parameters.
